I have used Heat Runner units of this type for years but just received my first defective unit. if you do not hear the fan, then unplug and return. Co Worker commented it was such a quiet unit, on inspection the heater was very hot and fan was not blowing. Returning and will purchase this item again because it is a very good heater. I have used mine for over 3 years.
Will update if replacement is not of good quality.

The heater is very quite but powerful. Haven't used it long enough to review the durability, but so far so good. Great buy!

The fan arrived on time as expected. The only issue I had with the shipping was that it was not free ship to store. It has adjustable speeds for the fan settings and for the heat. The heater works quite well and is very warm!

Bought it this winter 2014-2015. I had it in my office on the highest heat setting and it was barely warm- never mind hot. I could hold the palm of my hand one inch in front of it and it only felt warm on the highest setting...
Very disappointed -Will need to purchase another heater.
